During the general overhaul, the transmissions and converters are subjected to an extensive initial inspection by the specialist department, after which the defective parts are replaced in the automatic transmission, weak points are eliminated and all wear parts are renewed. The converter is disassembled, cleaned, equipped with new coupling blade, welded automatically, tested for leakage and finally finely weighed.
We will send the unit with the torque converter back to you ready for installation.
Depending on the findings and/or the damage, the electrohydraulic control unit must be renewed at an additional cost during the general overhaul.
